About
We are operators, not agents.
Most advice about selling in the UAE is written by people who sell company licences.
It stops at incorporation, because that is where their fee ends. The hard part starts afterwards — working out which approvals a product actually needs, getting a label past review, classifying goods correctly, and finding someone willing to put the product on a shelf.
Orvia was built from the other side of that desk. Everything we advise on has been through a real submission: registrations filed, labels corrected, containers cleared, pallets stored, listings opened. We know which documents come back and why, because we have had them come back.
We work with manufacturers, exporters and agencies who do not have anyone in the region, and who would rather not learn a regulatory system they will use once. We take the whole route, or the single stage you are stuck on.
How we work
Four things we hold to.
We tell you what you do not need
Requirements depend on the product, not the invoice. Where an approval or a test does not apply, we say so — even when selling it would have been easier.
Government and laboratory fees at cost
Official fees are passed through exactly as charged, with nothing added. You see what the authority costs and what we cost, separately.
One stage at a time
You commit to a single stage, not the whole journey. If a stage does not go the way we promised, we make it right before you commit to the next one.
Ranges, not promises
Approvals depend on authorities we do not control. We give honest timelines with the risks named, rather than a date we cannot keep.
Experience
Where the knowledge
comes from.
Over a decade representing companies to government and private-sector entities in the UAE — licensing, immigration, labour filings, renewals and the day-to-day work of keeping an entity in good standing.
Running a UAE free zone trading company end to end: importer registration, product registration, Arabic labelling, customs clearance and duty classification.
Third-party warehousing and pallet contracts, repacking and relabelling on arrival, order fulfilment and returns.
Distributor and retail conversations, marketplace listings and account reconciliation, and the pricing structures that decide whether a listing is worth having.
Recruitment, employment visas and payroll compliance, from years of human resources management in the UAE.
